Most people think if they leave there air conditioning on long enough it will cool down to any temperature like a freezer. That is no true. The average air conditioning system is designed to cool the structure 20 t0 25 degrees from the out side temperature. So if it is 100 degrees you will be lucky to get the inside temperature to 80 to 75 degrees. This also depends on the house envelope and the house insulation value.
